Terri Schindler--cast of characters
For those of you who would like a comprehensive cast of characters in the Terri Schindler case, please visit this great link. It's the original compilation put together by Myopic Zeal, and I would post the entire thing here but for my desire to save space.
Also check out The Title of Liberty: The Web of Lies for more discussion on the Terri Schindler cast of characters, as well as a graphical representation of the web that surrounded Terri. You can also e-mail me as I have saved both of these links as files, if you would prefer.
Also, this article from CBS 47 Jacksonville gives hope that Terri's struggles will not be forgotten:
New Roman Catholic university establishes Schiavo scholarship
NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - The Ave Maria University has established a scholarship in the name of Terri Schiavo. Officials say the Terri Schindler-Schiavo Scholarship is for students planning careers in the priesthood. Their goal is to have up to four (m) million dollars in scholarship money available to students within the next few years. Terri Schiavo suffered severe brain damage when her heart temporarily stopped in 1990. She died March 31st from dehydration after her feeding tube was disconnected despite efforts to keep her alive. The Vatican had called the removal of her feeding tube a violation of the principles of Christianity and civilization. The liberal arts school has been conducting its classes in temporary facilities while a campus is built in Naples. It is expected to open next year.
