From the Abyss

It's been forever since I've posted anything, and I'm determined to begin again on at least a semi-regular basis. Lately I have come to have a much deeper understanding of my faith, and simultaneously I am being bombarded with unimagineable negativity. Just goes to show that when you choose to follow God more closely, the Devil will surely notice you and be right at your heels within micro-seconds.

I just finished reading an amazing book called A Crime So Monstrous by E. Benjamin Skinner, and I cannot recommed this book highly enough. It deals with modern-day human trafficking and slavery, and is absolutely horrific. It has certainly re-awakened the social conscience I had in college, which is a pretty cool feeling.
